Counting who skied it…

Carter Park, on the east side of Breckenridge, held the Blue Valley Ski Course and its rope tow in 1939. In 1948 volunteers from the town fire department rebuilt the tow with a motor and parts from Montezuma mine-tram equipment and added lights, and for the winters of 1948 to 1950 the hill was open two nights a week.1
