History
Written by aurora.ski from the 2 pages below, each sentence numbered to its sources.
Juniper Hills was a family ski area off Route 3, about a mile and a half west of Harrisville. Skikabbalah says it began in 1965 and ran until 1979. It was built upside down, and a T-bar and a J-bar served six slopes and trails on about 170 feet of vertical.1,2
Guidebooks from 1970 to 1978 listed it with the same two lifts and about 200 feet of vertical, four to six trails and two slopes; the White Book of 1977 listed no snowmaking.2
