History
Written by aurora.ski from the 3 pages below, each sentence numbered to its sources.
Greenbush Ski Hill was on an east-facing slope in the northern unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest near Campbellsport. It was one of the Midwest's upside-down ski areas, with the parking at the top and the lodge at the bottom. The Midwest Lost Ski Areas Project says it may have opened around 1940 and closed in 1979; it had 125 feet of vertical and two rope tows in 1978. MWLSAP links a February 1951 Wisconsin State Journal feature on it with pictures, and Skimap.org has a 1977 trail map.1,2,3
