See and Ski stood on the Lakeland Hills golf course in Lodi, where Lodi Golf Club is today. In September 1972 the Portage Daily Register, reprinting the Lodi Enterprise, reported that Lodi's Optimist Club was raising money for a ski lift on the course, to be used that winter. The portable equipment, meant to leave the golf course unmarked in summer, was put at $6,500 with liability insurance. Club members planned to run the lift themselves and to charge a dollar an afternoon.1,2,3
The Midwest Lost Ski Areas Project dates the hill, with question marks, to about 1972–1974, says it had a J-bar, and counts it among the region's upside-down areas, where parking and the lodge sat at the top of the hill.1,4
