Counting who skied it…
Easton Valley was a small ski area in the town of Easton, on the hill just east of Willard Mountain. It ran as a private ski club in the 1960s and perhaps into the 1970s, so guidebooks recorded little of it; Skimap.org keeps trail maps dated 1970 and 1972.1,2

History

Easton Valley was a small ski area in the town of Easton, on the hill just east of Willard Mountain. It ran as a private ski club in the 1960s and perhaps into the 1970s, so guidebooks recorded little of it; Skimap.org keeps trail maps dated 1970 and 1972. A double chairlift, roughly 1,300 to 1,500 feet long, rose about 400 to 450 feet up a steep hill, and a surface lift served a gentle slope. A base lodge and a motel stood at the bottom.1,2
The area closed at some point in the 1970s. Its chair was taken down and may have gone to Willard Mountain. For several years the property was a nudist camp called the Phoenix, and it then sat empty. Easton Mountain, a spiritual retreat center, bought it in 1999 or 2001; sources differ. The old trails have grown in.1,3
